Steve is a founding and managing partner of Dicker and Dicker.  His practice concentrates on personal injury, medical malpractice and nursing home abuse and neglect litigation.  He is a long standing member the Illinois Trial Lawyer Association (ITLA).  He serves as an Arbitrator for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration System. He has taught Personal Injury Litigation to Paralegals and periodically has paralegal students performing their internships in our office. Throughout the years, Steve has represented thousands of victims who were injured from automobile accidents, slip and fall accidents, medical and nursing home malpractice.  He has also represented minors who were victims of sexual abuse. The Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times recently reported Steve’s successful handling of a case against the Chicago Archdioceses for a minor sexually abused by a priest.
In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.  He also loves to play, watch and coach sports.

Joanne Dicker is a founding partner of Dicker and Dicker. Originally a general practice attorney, she now concentrates on residential real estate transactions. Over the past 30 years, Joanne Dicker has helped clients buy and sell their homes. Joanne is an attorney agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company.  She is a member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association (IRELA), Chicago Land Agency Services (CLAS), Professional Referral Organization (PRO) and Womens Business Network (WBN).  Joanne Dicker also serves as an Arbitrator for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration System. In her free time, Joanne loves to read fiction, volunteers with the Northwest Suburban Interfaith Council and gardens.

Sandy has worked at Dicker and Dicker since 1998, in various capacities while earning her Masters in Social Work, working as a school social worker and attending law school.   While at the University of Illinois she received the National Merit Award Scholarship and President’s Award Scholarship.  In law school, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Agency, CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Illinois Civil Procedure and the Academic Dean’s Scholarship. Also, Sandy was the Student Publications Editor for the John Marshall Law Review (2006-2007).

She handles in personal injury, medical malpractice and nursing home abuse and neglect litigation.
Sandy is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, American Bar Association, University of Illinois Alumni Association, Alpha Sigma Nu Honors Society and Pi Beta Phi Alumni.  In her free time, Sandy enjoys doing volunteer work and traveling.

Scot joined Dicker and Dicker in 2008.  Prior to that, Scot was a summer intern for the State of Illinois Attorney General’s office and a mediator for the New York State Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Frauds and Protection Bureau. In college, he was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, a Politics Honor Society, the National Honor Society and Pre-Law Society.  While at Loyola University, Scot was a member of the Lawyer Related Education Program and worked at the Adult Guardianship Pro Se Help Desk at the Daley Center. 

Scot currently handles personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse and neglect litigation.
Scot is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

In his free time Scot enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching the Cubs win, reading, traveling, snowboarding, and attempting to play golf.
